|
EN Expansion Nuts are the spring steel version of the blind fitting fastener, they offer the designer the opportunity of providing a reusable thread form into blind box or channel sections where there is no access to attach a mating nut. The channel box section or panel can be recessed to provide a flush final finish between the mating panel. The Expansion Nut is simply pushed into the mating hole whereupon it expands and clicks into place, engagement of the mating screw then expands the nut further ensuring a secure vibration tight joint.
